About Andhra Pradesh Open School Society (APOSS):
Andhra Pradesh Open School Society was established in 17th of March 1991. It is an autonomous society registered under the Andhra Pradesh. Andhra Pradesh Open school society, APOSS has been working with the aim of providing the basic education to all concerned girls, SC, ST, Minorities, disabled persons and many more other candidates.The main motto of APOSS, is to provide pre-elementary Education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) mode to School drop-outs.And the candidates who are missing Upper Primary stage of education and to provide continuing education for adult neo-literates, working men, and women to reinforce their functional literacy.It introduces the SSC course at the state level in the year 2008. In addition, it also started the admissions at the Intermediate level in the year 2010.The SSC and intermediate level examinations conducted by the board usually in the month of April every year.

AP Open School Society conducts SSC examination twice every year for the students. One in the month April and second examination in either September or October month. For exams conducted in the April month, the result may be announced in either June or July month. For the exams conducted in September, the results may be announced in November or December months.
